I was born and raised in Tyler, Texas. In middle school I started teaching myself various 3D DCC software packages. I finished developing my first game when I was about fourteen, and I continued to learn the 3D pipeline from whatever sources I could find online. I finished my freshman year of college with a 4.0 in Computer Science at the University of Texas at Tyler. Throughout college, I worked on more than a dozen paid freelance web development and 3D contracts. During my Sophomore year, I decided to fully pursue my dream of working in the 3D Animation industry, so I transferred to Texas A&M's Visualization program.
While at TAMU, I fell in love with extended reality. By building VR, AR, and MR applications, I have been able to see the tremendous potential for these types of platforms. My senior year I did a 7 month co-op with Booz Allen Hamilton building XR training applications for the DoD. It was great to work with a large team of extremely talented professionals on real-world applications that help save taxpayer dollars and American lives.
I can easily see this type of technology becoming the primary medium of information manipulation and communication within the next 10 years. That is why I am so passionate about the field that I am working in.
